Wisconsin Lift Truck Donates Forklift to JJ Watt Foundation for Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief
On August 31st, the JJ Watt Foundation held a food & supply drive for Hurricane Harvey victims in Texas. The NFL star’s foundation held the drive at Pewaukee High School where Watt once attended, before going on to play for the Wisconsin Badgers and currently for the Houston Texans.
JJ Watt’s mother and father led volunteer efforts, where nine semis were loaded full of food, water and disaster relief kits by local volunteers who rallied together to get the job done.
Once the semi’s reached Texas, JJ Watt was there to personally hand out supplies to those in need throughout various drop points, with a team of volunteers to help.
Wisconsin Lift Truck was honored to be able to donate the use of a Mitsubishi forklift to ensure important supplies could get loaded and on their way to those in need in Texas.
